" Pocono Race Review"

Image
“ The Tricky Triangle”! The Nascar Cup Series visited Pocono Raceway, in Pocono, Pennsylvania, for a doubleheader weekend. That’s right, two races this weekend, one on Saturday and the second one Today. Alex Bowman won the first race on Saturday in surprising fashion. Kyle Larson, who led in the closing laps, had a flat tire to ruin his win. Alex Bowman went on to pass Larson on the final corner to win the race. For race two Kyle Busch won, giving him his second win of the 2021 season and his 59th all time. (Kyle Busch with Trophy Post Race) Today’s race was won on fuel mileage. Multiple drivers ran out of gas at the end of the race, which handed Busch the win. With 2 laps to go Denny Hamlin ran out of gas with the race win on the line, then had to pit just to finish the race. Kyle Busch in the catbird seat then passed Hamlin for the win.                    (Kyle Busch giving a Bow to the crowed post race) In my opinion, this weekend's racing action was sensational. A lot happene

"Nashville Race Review"

Dominance. The Nascar Cup Series visited Nashville! Located in Nashville, Tennessee, for the “ Ally 400”. Kyle Larson wins again, his 4th win of 2021( not including the all star race), but also his 10th of his career. He has won 3 races in a row, he is on fire! He led 264 of out 300 laps today. He is currently unstoppable. (Kyle Larson Celebrating Post Race) Today was Nascar’s return to Nashville in over 10 years!  Even though the race was good, there were a lot of problems. There were 10 cautions today, tires and brakes were the culprits. Driver complained all day about brakes. Whether it was overheating brakes, no brakes at all, or brake dust. Driver's brakes were the problem today.  (Kyle Larson standing with the Trophy) In my opinion this race was long. This race started at 3:50 and ended at 7:39. Caution’s played a factor, but in my opinion if Nascar returns to Nashville, this race needs to be shortened. An almost 4 hour race is not needed for this type of even

"Texas Race Review"

All star racing! The Nascar Cup Series visited Texas Motor Speedway, located in Fort Worth, Texas for the Nascar All Star Race. Drivers competed for 1 million dollars last night in a thrilling fashion. Kyle Larson wins again, this is his third win in a row. This is Larson’s second win in the Nascar All Star Race, taking home 1 million dollars. (Larson in Victory Lane with 1 million dollar check) Drivers and teams were put to the test. With 1 million dollars on the line, a lot of mistakes were made. A lot of speeding penalties and more were handed out. Overall today was average, not a lot surprised me. The broadcast was dry, the driver intros were not it and lastly the All Star Race at Texas was just bland. Personally, I don’t think Nascar should bring the All Star race back to Texas. If I had to give an overall score for today’s action, it would be a 6.5 out of 10. Racing at Texas last night wasn’t it. (Larson celebrating in front of fans post race) (Nascar on NBC's social media

"Sonoma Race Review"

Road Course racing! The Nascar Cup Series visited Sonoma Raceway, located in Sonoma, California for the “ Toyota SaveMart 350”. Kyle Larson dominates again, sweeping all 3 stages to secure the checkered flag. This is Larson’s 3rd win of the 2021 season, along with his 9th of his career.  Today was ruff, a lot of things happened today. Wrecks, packed filled racing and a lot of frustrated drivers post race. But this 12 turn road course still gave quite the experience. Larson is having quite the season, he by far has been the most dominant of any driver this year. Larson continues to collect points, stage wins but also checkered flags. With the season progressing, the broadcasting does as well. The Nascar broadcast is switching networks, NBC sports will call all the races for the remainder of the 2021 season. This is a regular switch because the schedule is split 50, 50. Fox sports holds the months of February through June, then NBC holds June through November. NBC will take over the N
