Auto Club Race Review and Analysis

  California Dreaming! The Nascar Cup Series paid a visit to Auto Club Speedway. Located in Fontana, California this five groove race track put on quite a show. Kyle Larson takes home the checkered flag in Nascar’s return to Auto Club Speedway. Larson records his 1st win of the season today and 17th overall in his career. Larson now joins Austin Cindric as the only two drivers locked into the playoffs.  (Nascar's five wide saulte to the crowd pre race) Heading into today there were a lot of uncertainties. Tires, next-gen car issues and track conditions all factored into today’s race. A lot of cautions surrounding tire issues headlined today. Many drivers and teams faced this issue, this could lead to concern as the season goes on. A prime example of this was from Tyler Reddick’s issue. Reddick was having a career day by leading a good portion of today’s race. Hardship hit his team as a tire went down during the final stage, ultimately taking him out of contention for the race win

2022 Daytona 500 Race Review and Analysis

  The 2022 Daytona 500 ended in a astonishing way. Located in Daytona Beach, Florida, this race gave fans quite the show. Coming down to the final lap Austin Cindric narrowly beat out Bubba Wallace for the race win. Cindric was having an under the radar type of afternoon and made his presence felt at the end. Cindric has now picked up his first career win in the Cup Series. Along with this, he is the 2022 Daytona 500 champ. He is the first rookie since Trevor Bayne in 2011 to win the Daytona 500. (Austin Cindric in Victory Lane) Throughout the race, drivers and teams faced adversity. Wrecks and cautions were an ongoing thing all day. The first major wreck of the day came from Harrison Burton. Burton went flying off of Brad Keselowski’s front bumper as the field headed for turn 3. As a result, this took a lot of heavy hitters out of the race early on. 2022 Busch Light Clash at the L.A. Colisuem Race Review

  The 2022 Busch Clash at the L.A. Coliseum! Located in the heart of Los Angeles, California this was something to see. 23 drivers filled out the lineup card as this race finished as the sun was setting. Joey Logano takes it home after a wild one to close out the weekend. Logano battled with Kyle Busch throughout the race with heated action back in the pack. This is Logano’s second Busch Clash win and becomes the first driver ever to win at the L.A. Coliseum.  ( Joey Logano doing his burnout post-race) The heat races and last chance qualifiers were something to see! Wreck after wreck which just repeated itself went on all afternoon. Drivers and teams voiced their concern over next-gen car parts. With there being a shortage of parts teams only had one backup car if they were to crash. With what happened today, that was all thrown out the window. Six cautions took place in the final LCQ race( Last Chance Qualifiers). Ty Dillion kept the 50 lap sprint interesting, Dillion and Cup rookie H
