It Was Worth The Wait: 2023 Coca-Cola 600 Race Review and Analysis

The 63rd running of the Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day! The Nascar Cup Series visited Charlotte Motor Speedway, in Nascar’s backyard of Concord, North Carolina for a showdown. Ryan Blaney took home the checkered flag, which is the 8th win of his career, and his 1st of the 2023 season. The 29-year-old joins Ricky Stenhouse Jr, Kyle Busch, William Byron, Joey Logano, Tyler Reddick, Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Martin Truex Jr, and Denny Hamlin as the only drivers locked in the playoffs.  600 miles of remembrance was on display once again as the prestigious Memorial Weekend race kicked off on a rare Monday start time.  Tumultuous rain poured on all on-track activities, only allowing the Craftsman Truck Series race to be run on Friday night, with Ben Rhodes collecting a win. The Cup race was pushed back until 3:00pm ET, with 400 laps of racing. Mother's Day Racing in South Carolina: Darlington Raceway Race Review and Analysis

  Mother’s Day in Darlington, South Carolina, at Darlington Raceway. William Byron took home the checkered flag collecting his seventh career win, along with marking his third victory of the 2023 season.  The 25-year old is the only driver with three wins on the season, as the nine drivers remain locked into the Nascar playoffs. (Byron Riding the High Line) Late in the race, the trending controversial topic of Ross Chastain struck again, as this time Kyle Larson was on the receiving end this weekend.  The two lined up side by side, after the choose rule.. with Chastain taking the bottom, aligning Larson up top. Entering the famed narrow Darlington Turn 1, Chastain squeezed Larson high, in a move to get even from a previous run-in, but instead costed both drivers a chance at a checkered flag. Rubbing Larson high off the corner created contact, as Chastain was hooked in the middle of the corner, ultimately handing Chastain a 29th place finish after 93 laps out front, and a 20th place fin

Greatness in the Heartland: Kansas Speedway Race Review and Analysis

  The best race of the season! The Nascar Cup Series visited Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas for the AdventHealth 400. Denny Hamlin took home the checkered flag for Joe Gibbs Racing, collecting the 49th win of his career, and his first victory of the 2023 season. The 42-year old collects his fourth win, for an all-time record at the 1.5-mile track, along with raising the total to nine drivers locked into the Nascar playoffs. In addition, this is the 400th win in Joe Gibbs Racing history. (The #11 Team in Victory Lane) In a strategic chess match-like battle, Hamlin and Kyle Larson dueled until a late pass for the lead send Larson into the outside wall.  Hamlin was able to pinch Larson and manipulate the air flow in between the two cars, prompting Larson to get loose, and eventually ending what was an example of authentic, quality next-gen intermediate track racing. The move put on Larson looked similar to Kurt Busch’s move on him, on this weekend last year.  Not plainly getting

Monday Afternoon Racing: Dover Race Review and Analysis

  Racing in Delaware, on a Monday! The Nascar Cup Series visited Dover Motor Speedway, after a rained out Sunday, for the Wurth 400.  Martin Truex Jr., took home the checkered flag for Joe Gibbs Racing, after leading 68 laps.  The 42-year old joins Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Kyle Busch, William Byron, Joey Logano, Tyler Reddick, Kyle Larson, and Christopher Bell as the only drivers locked into the playoffs.   (The #19 on-Track) An afternoon filled with racing, rubber appliance, the reputation of Ross Chastain, and Hendrick Motorsports dominance, the New Jersey native Truex Jr., collected his 33rd career win, sweeping the weekend for the Truex family last name after a first career win from his younger brother Ryan came in the Xfinity race. With a win at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Busch Light Clash in February, this is his first points-paying win of the season, after holding off Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney in the final restart.   Nicknamed M.T.J, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver snaps his 54-r
