"Bristol on Dirt Race Review"

Image
Monday evening racing ! The Nascar Cup Series finally got in today’s race after a dreadful weekend of weather. This weekend bought great racing, challenging weather and some controversial points in today’s race. Joey Logano picked up the win today at Bristol for “Team Penske”. This makes him the first driver in the Nascar Cup Series to win on dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway. The reason for today’s Monday afternoon race was for weather. Parking lots could be seen flooded and simply the track wasn’t ready for action yesterday. Yesterday’s storm was a part of the mess that was ripping through the south, which impacted a lot of states including Tennessee where the race was held. Nascar’s track prep team did an outstanding job to get the track prepped for today’s race. Here is a picture below of the track condition this morning before the race.  After a huge storm like that I think that’s an outstanding effort to get the track ready. Here are today’s top finishers below and also Logano in vi

"Atlanta Race Review"

Wow ! In a shocker Ryan Blaney wins the " Folds of Honor Quiktrip 500"! Ending in shocking fashion.  The Nascar Cup Series visited Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend with Ryan Blaney picking up the win. This race marked the sixth different driver to win in six different races this season. The record for most different winners stands at fourteen, which is still very possible to pass. Yesterday's race bought unique racing, tire wear, and also proved anything can happen at any given moment. Yesterday Kyle Larson dominated by leading 269 out of 325 laps. But then was passed with 10 laps to go by Ryan Blaney. Ryan Blaney who had a 28 race winless streak, snapped it yesterday by chasing Larson down to take the checkered flag. Sunday's race performance left a lot of fans buzzing over the pass that Blaney performed, with a slight bit of help from Fellow teammate and competitor Joey Logano. Logano's actions were not significant but did help Blaney and affect Larson. Log

"Phoenix Race Review"

The Nascar Cup Series wrapped up their west coast swing this weekend at Phoenix Raceway. Martin Truex Jr. took the checkered flag at phoenix this weekend, by passing Joey Logano on the final restart to end the race. The New Jersey native is now tied 28th all time with former racer Carl Edwards and Hall of Famer Rex White. Truex is on the his road to redumption after only picking up one win, in the 2020 season. By winning this weekend this locks him in to the playoffs in only race five of this young season. But here is the twist their are five different winners in the first five races, 16 different winners is very possible. But the problem is there is only 16 drivers that make it to the playoffs each year. This is going to make every race count and difficult on drivers. This relieve those worries off of truex as he will be in the playoffs come September. But will we see a 6th different winner this weekend? Check out The Nascar Cup Series as they take on the "Folds of Honor Quick

"Las Vegas Race Review "

Image
The Nascar Cup Series started their west coast swing a couple of weekends ago, as they took on Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Kyle Larson took the checkered flag in dominating fashion as the “Pennzoil 400” concluded two weeks ago. The other weeks race bought some excitement, with wild restarts , tire wear issues and even just the racing itself. Pit strategy played a huge part in last weeks race which resulted in disappointing finishes for some guys. But The Nascar Cup Series will quickly turn around and go back at it this weekend ;as the West coast swing continues and they tackle phoenix ! At 3.30 eastern only on FOX . My personal opinion: If I had to give my take, it was a solid race. Yesterday’s race was action filled, it didn’t disappoint and it was all around good racing. I look forward to what happens next week at Phoenix.   Next week's race info:    https://www.phoenixraceway.com/   This link above will show you next week's event and info about the race weekend This we

"Homestead Miami Race Review"

Justin Glenn  3/1/21 2:11pm Homestead Miami Race Review The “ Homestead Miami Speedway” Is where the Nascar Cup Series race ended yesterday ending in good fashion. Yesterday’s race resulted in a great win for William Byron, but also showed some new faces up front. Here is Yesterday's closing laps. William Byron took the checkered flag to record his second career win and first of this 2021 season. The Nascar Cup Series and also the Truck and Xfinity Series will be back in action six days from now at the For the Pennzoil 400 at 3:30 on FOX. My personal Opinion:  I thought this was a pretty solid race, it definitely didn’t show the balance in the field as people will be looking for next week. But all in all it was a pretty good race but as already known Sunday, Las Vegas is next as week 4 of this Nascar season rolls on heading in to the west coast swing.
