"Atlanta Race Review"

Wow ! In a shocker Ryan Blaney wins the " Folds of Honor Quiktrip 500"! Ending in shocking fashion.

The Nascar Cup Series visited Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend with Ryan Blaney picking up the win. This race marked the sixth different driver to win in six different races this season. The record for most different winners stands at fourteen, which is still very possible to pass. Yesterday's race bought unique racing, tire wear, and also proved anything can happen at any given moment. Yesterday Kyle Larson dominated by leading 269 out of 325 laps. But then was passed with 10 laps to go by Ryan Blaney. Ryan Blaney who had a 28 race winless streak, snapped it yesterday by chasing Larson down to take the checkered flag. Sunday's race performance left a lot of fans buzzing over the pass that Blaney performed, with a slight bit of help from Fellow teammate and competitor Joey Logano. Logano's actions were not significant but did help Blaney and affect Larson. Logano took Larson's preferred line away around the track which helped Blaney close in the gap, and then later take the lead. Also Blaney used Logano's help to his advantage by using Joey's car as a place holder to get around Larson. But many fans are still upset, their is an unwritten rule in Nascar that when the race is coming down to the line, you as a lap car should move out the way and let the leaders fight it out to the finish. But Logano did not follow accordingly to the rule, which basically ruined Larson"s race at the end. It was clearly expressed that Larson was frustrated because of the result, which is fine. But personally I think he shouldn't and here's why.

The Term "Teammates" in Nascar is taken out of context in many different ways. A "teammate" in Nascar is normally reffered to as an ally or a fellow driver that drives the same equipment as you or is in the same organization as you. For example Hendrick Motorsports, Hendrick Motorsports is a four car powerhouse organization that is listed as one of the top teams in the Nascar Cup Series. They assist many organizations and teams with eqiupment, funding and more. For example look at Hendrick Motorsports as a helping hand or guidance to the top level. Hendrick Motorsports supports Chip Ganassi Racing and JTG Daugherty Racing. "Hms" Hendrick Motorsports is the mothership to the two teams listed above. The manufacture for these cars are Chevrolet, that's where the ally factor comes in. But also this works for all teams and manaufacters in Nascar. For example The Toyota and ford based teams are going to work with their toyota and ford drivers than working with someone else. That's how it works and that's how it was and will always be. But in this situation Logano and Blaney are teammates, they are ford based drivers so they will work together. But Larson is the complete opposite, he is a Chevrolet driver and he drives for Hendrick Motorsports which is a Chevrolet based team. So Personally Larson can return the favor with helping his own teammate or fellow chevy drivers in a future race date. The Nascar Cup Series will be at Bristol Motor Speedway as they will be racing on dirt for the first time in 50 years only on FOX.
