Memorial Weekend! The Nascar Cup Series visited Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the 62th running of the prestigious “Coca Cola 600”. Kyle Larson picked up the win, making history tonight. This is Larson’s second win of the 2021 season, but also his 8th of his career. Tonight Nascar honored the fallen soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Teams displayed patriotic schemes and names of fallen soldiers across each driver's windshield. (Kyle larson in Victory Lane) Tonight was long, crews, teams and drivers were put to the test. This was a 4 hour race, running from 6:25 in the evening, to 10:30 at night. Drivers were put to the test mentally, physically and more. Kyle Larson led 327 out of tonight’s 400 laps, this shows how dominant he was all night. For those who don’t know, the Nascar headquarters are located in Charlotte, North Carolina, only a few miles from the track. To drive 600 miles, then to win in Nascar’s backyard, has to be a great feeling.

Carnage in Texas! The Nascar Cup Series visited Circuit of The Americas, for the “EchoPark Texas Grand Prix ”. Located in Austin, Texas this is a track like no other. Chase Elliott picked up the win, in a rain shortened event. This race started in dry conditions, but with the rain becoming too tough to tame it was time to call the race official with 14 laps to go. This is Chase Eillott’s 12th career win, along with his 6th on a road course. With this win, he officially locks himself into the 2021 playoffs. (Here is Chase Elliot standing with the Trophy post race) Rain was huge today. With terrible weather, a track no one's raced on and terrible vision this is a recipe for disaster. Guess what, it was. Huge wrecks, terrible vision! No one was happy today. Drivers were fuming during post race interviews.   The Monster Mile! The Nascar Cup Series visited Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware for the “Drydene 400”. Alex Bowman picks up the win today, Bowman records  his second of the 2021 season. Bowman wasn’t a big factor today, but in the end is when it matters most. Bowman’s team executed all day on pit road which put him out front for this result. Bowman Celebrating with his team post race Today was tough, most teams struggled today. There were a few cautions that affected today’s race, but that’s all right. Nothing really stood out today and the race was long. But that’s racing, not every race will be action packed. But once again with Bowman’s win, this creates another 2 time winner in 2021. Races are counting down, teams are struggling and trying to figure it out. But guess what, next week is not going to help at all.  Alex Bowman in Victory Lane The Nascar Cup Series will head to Circuit of The Americas, for the “EchoPark Texas Grand Prix”. Mother’s Day Racing! The Nascar Cup Series visited Darlington, South Carolina for the “ Goodyear 400”. Martin Truex Jr. dominated throwback weekend by picking up his 3rd win of the season. Truex went on to lead 248 out of 293 to seal the victory today. Darlington Raceway is the oldest track on the Nascar circuit and it really showed today. Driver’s were frustrated about tire wear and how slick the track was. This led to various wrecked cars and quite a few cautions. (Truex adknowledging the fans post race) By winning today, Truex picks up his second win all time at Darlington Raceway. 3 wins in the first 12 races, that’s not bad. This relieves the pressure to win this season. Truex will be on cruise control, as we head into the summer mark of this season. The playoff standings do not move much, but as race 13 approaches some teams will be more desperate than others.                                                                                                            (Martin Truex
