" Talladega Race Review"

What a Wild Finish! The Nascar Cup Series visited Talladega, Alabama for the “Geico 500”. Talladega Superspeedway didn’t disappoint with huge wrecks, pit road penalties and long days for drivers and crews. Brad Keslowski takes home the checkered flag, with a last lap pass for the lead. With this win Brad moves up in the record books, with now having six wins at Talladega Superspeedway. He ties Nascar legends and hall of famers Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon for second all time.

Here's a video of Joey Logano fliping causing a huge wreck.

Another view of Logano's flip.

Driver's were visually frustrated, but going 200 miles in hour doesn't help it. Drivers were complaining about heat, tires and more. With superspeedway racing, expect the unexpected. Today’s race result added another winner to the list for this season. This makes 9 different winners in 10 different races. The playoff spots are filling up fast, this is making every race count. Teams are starting to hit the panic button, 9 out of 16 spots for the playoffs are filled. Teams will have to win to get in, 7 spots remain with only 16 races left until the playoffs.

My Personal opinion on today’s race, it was entertaining. Easy and simple, if you watched today’s race you weren’t left disappointed. Many drivers and crews had an eventful day and fans weren’t left disappointed. I was on the edge of my seat all race long and I am very proud of today’s action.

As we rap up from Talladega Superspeedway, today was great. The action was very interesting to watch and it all resulted in a great finish. The Nascar Cup Series heads to Kansas Speedway, in Kansas City, Kansas for the “ Buschy McBusch race 400”. May 2nd, Sunday only on Fox.
